I’m Kamal, the founder of Kamal Melbourne Transfers – and more than just a driver, I’m someone who genuinely loves meeting people from all walks of life. With decades of hands-on experience in transport, customer service, and hospitality, I’ve built this business with one goal in mind: to offer safe, reliable, and friendly private transfers across Victoria.

Originally from Moga, Punjab, I moved to New Zealand in 2006 before settling in Melbourne. My background is diverse – I hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a Diploma of Nursing, and a Certificate in Massage Therapy. I’ve worked as a car mechanic, chef, restaurant manager, and even helped with underground NBN installations. But my passion has always been driving and serving people.

Over the years, I’ve completed thousands of airport transfers and private tours, including the Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island, winery tours, wedding transfers, and snow trips. I spent 5 years driving taxis in Auckland, followed by 9 years with Southern Star Limousines (VHA), and 3 years driving chauffeur vans and buses with SIT, where I was also snow bus trained at Mt Hotham. I’ve driven for SkyBus, Uber, and even trucks – gaining deep knowledge of Melbourne roads and customer needs.

In 2023, I launched my own business with a Renault Master van under the name Jet Maxi Cabs, which was proudly rebranded in 2024 as Kamal Melbourne Transfers. I speak English, Punjabi, and Hindi – and I’m proud to say I connect easily with people from all backgrounds and cultures.

I’m known for punctuality, cleanliness, personal care, and genuine hospitality. I also run a graphic design and printing business called Punjabi Prints and Kamal Print Works.
